Stand builder for PLMA 2027
Your custom stand at RAI Amsterdam
Are you travelling to Amsterdam for PLMA's World of Private Label 2027? Then you need a stand that does its job in a crowded hall, without you having to organise construction from abroad. Eldee Expo Experts is a Dutch stand builder located one hour from the RAI. We design, produce, install and dismantle your stand, so you arrive to find it finished and ready.
PLMA 2027 | 25 & 26 May | RAI Amsterdam
PLMA's World of Private Label is the leading international trade show for private label. For two days, manufacturers from across the world meet retail buyers at the RAI Amsterdam to present products, run tastings and do business.
The audience is what makes this show different. The aisles are walked by buyers, category managers and decision-makers from supermarket chains, drugstores and wholesalers. Their schedules are full and their brief is clear: find new products and reliable suppliers. Your stand is often their first impression of your company.

A local stand builder, one hour from the RAI
Most exhibitors at PLMA travel to Amsterdam from abroad. Bringing a stand with you means international transport, customs paperwork, a build crew staying in a hotel for several days, and the risk of something arriving damaged or late.
Working with a local builder removes all of that. Eldee is based in Tricht, about an hour's drive from the RAI Amsterdam.
We produce your stand in our own workshop in the Netherlands, deliver it with our own fleet and install it with our own team. You travel to Amsterdam with your products and your sales team, and walk into a finished stand.
Every year we build at PLMA for returning clients, and more and more international exhibitors are finding their way to us. Many of them started with a single unit and now come back each edition with a larger stand.
What that means in practice:
- No international transport or customs formalities for your stand
- No build crew to send, house and feed for four days
- One point of contact who speaks English and knows the venue
- We handle the PLMA stand approval procedure and the technical drawings
- Storage of your stand in the Netherlands between editions, so next year costs less
Expo success means meeting
customers for life.

When the shell scheme doesn't fit your plans
PLMA works with units. One unit measures 2.93 by 2.93 metres, so 8.58 m². The rate includes the PLMA shell scheme: white laminated walls, a white fascia with your company name and stand number, grey carpet and basic cleaning on both show days.
That package is practical, and for some exhibitors it is enough. But it also means your stand looks exactly like the one next to it. If you are launching a range, presenting to a specific retailer or want to be found in a busy hall, the shell scheme quickly becomes limiting. There is no room for your brand colours, your product presentation, proper lighting or a comfortable place to sit down with a buyer.
That is where we come in. Depending on your budget, we can:
- dress the existing shell scheme walls with your own graphics, panels and lighting
- replace the standard structure entirely with a custom-built stand
- design a modular stand you can reuse at PLMA and other trade shows for years
- build in a counter, bar, tasting point or seating area
- create storage space, so boxes, coats and stock stay out of sight
- arrange refrigeration, water and power for food sampling
** Please note: custom stands are subject to approval by PLMA. We prepare the drawings and submit the application on your behalf.
Designing a stand that works
Stands at PLMA are smaller than at many other trade shows. That makes every square metre count, and it makes the design choices sharper. With a wall of 2.93 metres, one wrong decision costs you a third of your frontage.
So we work from your priorities. What has to be visible from the aisle? How many products do you really want to show, and which one leads? Do you need a seated meeting area, or is a standing counter enough? Where does your stoFor food exhibitors, sampling adds another layer. A tasting point, a fridge or a small preparation area needs space, water and power, planned into the design rather than added afterwards.
Good design in a compact stand is mostly about leaving things out. One strong focal point works better than five small ones.
Why exhibitors choose Eldee
Eldee has been designing and building exhibition stands since 1976. More than 5,500 projects across Europe have been completed by our own team, and we remain a family-owned company with around 17 people in Tricht.
Design, technical drawing, production, transport and installation all happen in-house. That gives you one team and one point of contact from the first sketch to the final handover, and it is the reason clients come back edition after edition.

FAQ PLMA
Yes. That is what most of our international clients at PLMA ask for. We handle design, production, transport, installation, the PLMA approval procedure and dismantling. You send us your artwork and your requirements, and arrive in Amsterdam to a finished stand. Everything can be arranged in English.
For stands with working equipment, water connections or more complex technical requirements, starting early is especially important.
Nice to know: we receive the first request for standdesigns for Aquatech 2027 in July 2026.
There are two parts. First, the exhibition space itself, which you book per unit with PLMA. Second, the stand: design, materials, furniture, graphics, lighting, transport, installation and dismantling. The second part depends on the number of units, the construction method and the finish you want.
Also budget for travel and accommodation for your team, catering on the stand, team outfits and any additional services. We provide an itemised quote, so you know where you stand before you commit. Request a quote.
Yes. PLMA provides the basic shell scheme, but you are free to have your stand designed and built by your own contractor. Custom stands are reviewed by PLMA in advance. We prepare the drawings and submit the application.
It depends on your range and on what you want to do on the stand. One unit of 2.93 by 2.93 metres suits a focused range and short conversations. From two or three units there is room for seating or a tasting set-up. From six units you are also allowed to start building earlier, which helps with more elaborate concepts. We are happy to advise before you book your space.
In many cases, yes. If the stand is designed for reuse, storing it in the Netherlands is usually cheaper than building new each year, and it removes transport from your planning entirely. You then only update the graphics.
No. We install the stand and hand it over to you personally, usually on the day before the show. Many international exhibitors arrive the day before the start of the show and only need to bring their products.
If you are exhibiting machinery or working equipment, please also provide its dimensions and technical requirements. Based on this information, our designers can develop a first 3D stand concept and quotation.
