Exhibition Stand Builder for BATIBOUW 2027

An exhibition stand for builders, renovators and trade professionals

At BATIBOUW, two kinds of visitors walk the same aisles. One has a concrete building or renovation plan and wants to touch, compare and get advice. The other is an architect, contractor or installer looking for a reliable partner. Your stand needs to serve both, without either feeling out of place. Eldee designs stands that do exactly that: tangible and inviting for homeowners, substantial and convincing for professionals.

BATIBOUW | 13 – 21 February 2027 | Brussels Expo

BATIBOUW is Belgium's largest fair for building, renovation and interiors. The 68th edition takes place at Brussels Expo, in Palaces 5, 6, 7, 9 and 11 and the Patio. The fair is open daily from 10:00 to 18:30. Thursday 18 February is a professional day, and on Friday 19 February the fair stays open until 22:00.

What makes a stand at BATIBOUW different

BATIBOUW asks more of a stand than most fairs. That's why four things deserve extra attention in the design.

Materials visitors can touch. People planning to build or renovate want to open a door, feel a floor and see a colour in real light. A stand with real applications and set-ups is more convincing than a screen full of product photos.

A layout for two audiences. An open, inspiring front draws homeowners in. A quieter area with seating leaves room for conversations with architects and contractors, especially on the professional day.

Built for nine days of trading. Nine days of heavy footfall call for solid flooring, hard-wearing finishes, ample storage and a place where your stand staff can take a breather. Lighting matters too, for example during the late opening.

Bilingual communication. Visitors come from all over Belgium. Signage and graphics in both Dutch and French make your message instantly clear to everyone.

From first meeting to build-up in Brussels

We work with a clear process. In an introductory meeting, at our office in Tricht or online, we discuss what you want to achieve at BATIBOUW and which visitors you want to reach. About two weeks later, you receive a 3D design with a detailed quote. Once approved, we produce the stand in our own workshop. Our own transport brings everything to Brussels Expo, where our team builds the stand. We also handle communication with the fair organiser, so you can focus on your customers.

Wherever possible, we build with reusable elements. With new graphics, the same stand can be used again later, for example at other building fairs in Belgium or the Netherlands.

Why exhibit at BATIBOUW?

For 67 years, BATIBOUW has been the place to go in Belgium for anyone planning to build, renovate or furnish a home. Homeowners and professionals return year after year. The name is so well established that more than nine out of ten Belgians know the fair. For many people, a building or renovation project starts with a visit to Brussels Expo.

That's what makes BATIBOUW special for exhibitors. More than 200,000 visitors arrive with a concrete project and genuine buying interest. You meet them at the very moment they're making decisions. On the professional day, you also meet architects, contractors and installers, who often decide which brands end up in a project.

Your participation also delivers visibility beyond the fair itself. In the run-up, the organiser runs a broad media campaign across newspapers, magazines, websites and social media. Through BATIBOUW's own channels, you stay visible all year round. And as an exhibitor, you can use the BATIBOUW logo in your own communications, a strong signal to customers that you're an established name in your sector.

In the end, all that attention comes together in one place: your stand. That's where a visitor decides whether to walk past or step inside. So make sure your stand is as strong as the stage it stands on

FAQ BATIBOUW

BATIBOUW 2027 runs from Saturday 13 to Sunday 21 February 2027 at Brussels Expo, in Palaces 5, 6, 7, 9 and 11 and the Patio. The fair is open daily from 10:00 to 18:30. Thursday 18 February is a professional day, and on Friday 19 February the fair is open until 22:00.

Ideally in September. That leaves plenty of time for design, adjustments and technical preparation. You can start until around mid-November. After that, the schedule towards February gets tight, especially with the December holidays in between. See our planning above for all milestones. Decided to exhibit at a later stage? Get in touch anyway. With our own design team and workshop, we can often still move quickly.

BATIBOUW focuses on building, renovation and interiors, so the products and services you present must fit within those sectors. The organiser groups exhibitors by theme across the different palaces. Live demonstrations, machinery, open flames or food and drink sampling may require separate permission. Always check the exhibitor regulations. We’re happy to help you work out what’s possible on your stand.

For custom stands, the organiser and Brussels Expo set requirements for building height, fire safety and structural elements, among other things. Depending on the design, stand drawings must be submitted for approval in advance. We take these requirements into account from the very first sketch and prepare all the necessary drawings and documentation.
